PCMCIA_CNTRL(8) OpenBSD System Manager's Manual PCMCIA_CNTRL(8)

NAME
pcmcia_cntrl - Change the status of a pcmcia slot

SYNOPSIS
     pcmcia_cntrl slotid [on | off | unmap | probe]

DESCRIPTION
Pcmcia_cntrl controls the operation of a PCMCIA card. It operates on the
     card in slot slotid.

     The options are as follows:

     -on Turns power on

     -off Turns power off

     -unmap
Unmaps and unconfigures a active card (not all drivers may support
           this).

     -probe
Probes and attaches the card found in the slot. Works only for de-
vices that have kernel support for mapping. Use config_slot for
           other devices.

If an error occurs, pcmcia_cntrl exits with a value >0.
